Industrial Systems Consulting (ISC) is supporting the build out of new industrial facilities in the Rock Springs WY area involving a budget of roughly $1.2 Billion. We are in the early stages and looking for senior project managers with such full-lifecycle experience, from the budgeting and procurement of such industrial facilities to their startup and operation. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. Likewise, this individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the project team in developing detailed project execution plans, schedules, and budgets for industrial facilities.
- Direct and coordinate all phases of the project, including engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in project management of large-scale EPC projects within the mineral mining and processing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mining and processing operations, including equipment selection, materials handling, and environmental considerations.
- Extensive experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as required.
