Position Summary (major areas of contribution):

The Manager of Project Coordination is responsible for leading the Project Coordinators responsible for ensuring Royston’s performance in response to customer opportunities. The Manager of Project Coordinators’ success will be measured by their ability to effectively utilize, retain, develop, and challenge Royston’s resources to meet or exceed the customer’s requirements while working within the framework and priorities of the larger organization.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team to ensure they are giving the best customer experience possible
  • Provide constructive and frequent feedback to the individuals in the Project Coordinator team
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hire Project Coordinators
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for front end procedures as it relates to Project Coordinators
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to add value to the organization
  • Manage account assignments to best align capabilities to current customer demand
  • Partner with other managers to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration
  • Manage time keeping for hourly employees
  • Facilitate pier to pier training
  • Provide regular learning sessions to promote company, system, and product knowledge
  • Act as Project Coordinator for some accounts to sustain working knowledge of process and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications / Skills:

To perform this job successfully, this individual must be self-motivated and able to perform all duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision. This individual must be an excellent communicator with an ability to work effectively across the organization. They must lead the Project Coordinator team to continue to add value to the organization. This individual must always be looking forward, proactively searching for new opportunities and ways to improve our offering to customers.

Requirements:

  • Customer support leadership experience
  • Self-motivated
  • Proven process improvement experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Office)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform duties with limited supervision
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment
  • Previous experience with SAP Ariba and/or Coupa
  • Previous AS400 experience
