Position Overview:

As a Bilingual Medical Assistant at Beautiful You, you will perform both administrative and clinical tasks, supporting our medical staff, ensuring that our facilities run smoothly and that our clients receive the highest standard of care. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional healthcare services. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively meet the diverse needs of our clientele.

 

What You Will Do:

As a critical member of our wellness team, you will:

  • Clinical Support: Monitor and document clients’ vital signs, ensuring they are within normal ranges, and promptly report any abnormalities to the MD, NP, or RN.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications as ordered by the provider under the supervision of the NP or RN, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Client Interaction: Deliver outstanding customer service with professional phone etiquette, strong typing skills, and experience in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • EMR Documentation: Accurately document client information and treatment details using our EMR system, ensuring seamless communication within the care team.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Assist clients with scheduling appointments, providing clear and friendly communication to ensure a smooth process.
  • Facility Maintenance: Keep treatment rooms clean and well-prepared between appointments and at the end of the day, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks based on patient and center needs, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Team Collaboration: Be a proactive team player, ready to assist the Provider and RNs with various tasks as needed while effectively managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Bilingual Communication: Use your bilingual skills to communicate effectively with both English—and Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their visit.


Who We Are Looking For:

  • You have completed post-high school education, including certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • You bring at least two years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
  • You hold a current certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • You possess excellent phlebotomy skills and have experience with intravenous (IV) catheter insertion.
  • You are highly organized and have a keen attention to detail.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to changing needs.


Your Working Hours:

  • Full-time position, Tuesday to Saturday.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required.
  • Flexibility to float between our Bowie and Hyattsville locations based on daily needs.


Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Nurse Practitioner/Practice Administrator.
