- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities during non-peak production times.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency.
- Ensure the maintenance team is trained on the latest safety practices and technical advancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and other computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and exposure to dust and noise.
