Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Resort Lifestyle Communities. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent upkeep of our retirement community, identifying areas for improvement, and working closely with Community Managers, residents, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and building repairs, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure the work of outside contractors is completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Handle vacant apartment turn processes, including painting and cleaning carpets.
  • Keep accurate logs of monthly inspections to ensure the safe upkeep of the building.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance experience in a hotel, apartment, or senior living facility.
  • Current driver's license and clean driving record; ability to drive the community bus safely as needed.
  • Experience performing routine maintenance and building repairs, with a working knowledge of custodial procedures.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • HVAC experience is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, managers, and vendors.
