As a Systems Engineer, you will handle support calls and tickets, providing
exceptional service to both our customers and ensuring the smooth
operation of our data centers. This position offers the opportunity to work

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Support: Handle support calls and tickets, offering technical
    assistance to both customers and internal teams. Ensure issues are
    resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Data Center Operations: Perform routine walkarounds and general
    maintenance of IP Pathways’ data centers to ensure optimal operation
    and uptime.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Always work to maintain a high level of
    customer satisfaction with customers, peers, and other teams by
    providing excellent service and technical support.
  • Technical Recommendations: Provide technical recommendations
    to customers, helping them to optimize their IT environments and
    address their specific needs.
  • On-Call Participation: Participate in on-call rotations and escalations,
    being available to respond to critical issues as they arise.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve potential issues
    before they impact operations, working proactively to maintain system
    performance and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of
    systems, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing
    and continuity across teams.
  • Team Collaboration: Work both individually and collaboratively with
    the team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting or implementing technology
    solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Windows OS, Mac OS,
    and mobile devices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server Solutions, including Exchange,
    DNS, DHCP, Filesharing, and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra (Azure), and SharePoint is a
    plus.
  • Virtualization experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including understanding of TCP/IP,
    DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the
    ability to convey technical information clearly and professionally
    to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem- Solving Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to

    Physical Requirements:

  • Mobility: Ability to move around data centers, including walking,
