At Insight Global, we are seeking a skilled RF Systems Engineer to join our team. As an RF Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing RF systems and components, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and amplifiers, to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RF systems and components, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and amplifiers
  • Create, review, and update RFDS based on design and market requirements
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and design specifications to stakeholders and project teams
  • Upload data to ATOLL, including data scrubbing, re-push, Unity updates, Magenta Built updates, and ensuring data integrity
  • Generate status reports, attend vendor meetings for updates on builds, and conduct iBwave design reviews
  • Utilize RF simulation and modeling software tools to predict system behavior, analyze performance parameters, and optimize designs
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, analysis, and optimization of RF systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance meet or exceed requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software engineers, and project managers, for seamless integration of RF components into the overall system architecture
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in RF engineering, and contribute to ongoing research and development initiatives to enhance product offerings and maintain a competitive advantage
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in RF simulation and modeling software tools (e.g., ADS, CST Microwave Studio, HFSS) and familiarity with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators)
  • Strong understanding of RF principles, antenna theory, modulation techniques, and wireless communication protocols (e.g., 5G, GSM, CDMA, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth)
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (masters or Ph.D.) preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in RF engineering or a closely related field, with a demonstrated track record of success in designing and optimizing RF systems and components
  • Proficiency with design tools such as IBwave and ATOLL
  • Experience working with tools and databases specifically Magenta Build, BAT tool, RFDS, and ART
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
