About this Opportunity
As a Content Marketing Specialist at RTC, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing a content marketing strategy that enhances member engagement and showcases our partnerships. Your role involves creative storytelling and leveraging diverse channels to position RTC as a trailblazer in the tech community.
  • Strategy Development: Craft and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with RTC’s mission, enhancing both member engagement and organizational impact.
  • Content Creation: Produce engaging content across various formats such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and multimedia, ensuring it resonates with our audience and amplifies RTC’s message.
  • Analytics: Monitor and analyze content performance to refine strategies, utilizing insights to better meet the needs of our members and partners.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external creatives to produce compelling content that is consistent and impactful.
  • Leadership: Develop a thought leadership program that highlights key topics and showcases RTC’s influence in the tech space.
Qualifications Needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in targeted content creation, preferably within the tech industry or a member-based nonprofit.
  • Strong familiarity with CMS (WordPress), marketing automation (HubSpot), and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Proficient in SEO, SEM, and using analytics tools like Google Analytics to drive content strategy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  3. Initially qualified candidates will be asked to complete an online assessment.
  4. Qualified candidates will be considered by the hiring manager, 1st round interviews conducted.
  5. Paid project requested.
  6. Final round of interviews and references.
  7. Anticipated start date:  mid to late August 2024.
