Job Description:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans, including interacting with clients, directing solicitation efforts, and securing business.
  • Not afraid of the boots-on-the-ground mentality and active prospects for new business.
  • Develop a thorough sales segmentation analysis and business plan for any market segment, not afraid to jump in where needed and drive additional sales.
  • Ensure that the property maximizes its partnerships with all companies, brands, and local organizations.
  • Promote through personal involvement in community and business networking organizations.
  • Develop relationships with key accounts, wholesalers, and travel companies.
  • Able to travel to trade shows and work events with a clear plan of attack and drive new business through key relationships

Ongoing Tasks:

  • Exceptional attention and adherence to KPIs, such as Revenue Goals, Guest Satisfaction/Reviews, and establishing effective sales processes.
  • Strategies will include market segmentation mix, pricing, direct sales, and maximizing profitability for the property.
  • Drives Sales activity goals, weekly, monthly, quarterly
  • Plays a role in budget and goal-setting
  • Participation and overall collaboration amongst the team is a must for this role.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all required tasks
  • Work with integrity, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Work in a safe, prudent, and highly organized manner
  • Superior oral, written, and computer skills
  • Guide and monitor business ethics and good business practice
  • Conduct self most professionally at all times to reflect the hotel standards
  • Highly organized and has the ability to plan multiple activities and meet deadlines with the ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
  • Available to cross train as directed
  • Knowledge of Sales, Reservation and Room’s distribution functions
  • All other responsibilities assigned by management
