The Software Architect will lead the design and development of software applications, determine technical specifications, create technical blueprints, and oversee the editing of code. This role requires the ability to direct solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware, as well as monitor and resolve issues within software systems.

This position is available in Albuquerque, NM, and requires U.S. citizenship OR Permanent Residence status.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of software applications.
  • Plan the different features of a program and determine technical specifications.
  • Create technical blueprints and oversee the editing of code.
  • Direct solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware.
  • Monitor problems within software systems and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant Software architecture experience.
  • At least two (2) years of hands-on experience with Rational tools.
  • At least two (2) years of hands-on experience with configuration management tools.
  • At least two (2) years of hands-on experience with common DevOps tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
