INDOT is undertaking a multi-million-dollar, multi-yeardigital transformation and IT systems modernization effort that will impactthousands of employees and contractor partners associated with INDOT. With transformation and modernization comes alot of change change to the way current processes are done, changes to whodoes what, and when. And much of thischange will involve new business processes, and new or re-configured systemsand business user-interfaces. This willmean a new way of doing things for everyone.

This role will ensure our digital transformation IT projectsmeet objectives on time, with the right resources, and on budget by leading thedevelopment of employee training, increasing employee adoption and usage ofenterprise systems, and ensuring new / revised processes are implemented to providemaximum benefit with as minimal impact on day-to-day operations as possible.

The primary responsibility will be collaborating with theINDOT Digital Transformation and IT team, INDOT's business units, and otherthird-party vendor(s) that will be providing change management andcommunications expertise, to create and implement new IT training protocolsthat will help drive adoption and adherence to IT systems and businessprocesses, and to provide tactical project support that will ensure sustainedlearning of new systems or enhancements to existing systems, user guides,train-the-trainer events, etc.

Supervision

This position is part of the INDOT Digital TransformationProject Management Office (PMO). While this role does not have direct INDOTemployee supervisory responsibility, this person will be responsible for leadingthe PMO's business user training strategy and tactics.

This position will have to work collaboratively with manyothers in the organization to succeed. This role will act as a coach for ourbusiness analysts and engagement managers w/r/t business user training needs.This role may also provide direct support and coaching to frontline managersand supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.

Roles andResponsibilities:

Apply a structured training development andexecution methodology and lead IT project training/learning-related activitieswith our business units, leveraging this methodology

Collaborate with INDOT IT, Communications, andBusiness Units to align on an enterprise IT system training RACI and strategy

Complete training needs assessments acrossmultiple areas

Evaluate and ensure user readiness

Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigationtactics associated to training, in collaboration with the project manager(s) /PMO.

Proactively identify and manage anticipated resistance

Create actionable training development and executiondeliverables that supports both the IT department, and business end-users: (trainingplans, train-the-trainer SOP, user guides, system interface and architecture,and other technical documentation support in collaboration with IT system owners,etc.)

Identify key stakeholder talent who play a rolein the organizations commitment to sustained training best practices

Define and measure success metrics and monitor successof training that is developed.
