JOB TITLE: SUBSTANCE ABUSE NURSE FULL TIME

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN or RN or LPN
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience working with individuals having substance abuse problems; emphasis on narcotic addiction
  • Current license to practice as a registered/practical nurse in the State of North Carolina OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Provides professional nursing work associated with the medical/clinical needs of those individuals who are seeking or enrolled in the outpatient treatment program or seeking services through the outreach program.
