The Wellness & Community Coordinator supports our mission and values by planning & producing events, organizing facilities and details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests equipment, and promotional material for wellness center memberships.
The Wellness & Community Coordinator's primary responsibilities will include:
- Organize facilities and manage all event's details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, and promotional material.
- Produce events from conception through to completion.
- Responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.
- Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits.
- Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality.
- Provide feedback and periodic reports on utilization and services.
- Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, and safety obligations.
- Individual will attend all events including evening and weekends when required.
- Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day.
- Conduct pre- and post - event evaluations and report on outcomes.
- Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest.
- Inform immediate supervisor promptly of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor.
- Lead on sales and promotion of the Wellness Center fitness and pool memberships; including event room and all room sales.
- Participate and help with outside marketing and sales of Brethren Care Village to include vendor events, flyer drops, and speaking engagements.
- Assist with the development of marketing materials and print.
- Be able to utilize and be trained on all fitness equipment and software for the machines to guarantee proper training of new members.
- Performs front desk duties at the Wellness Center as needed.
- Plan and post social media posts for Brethren Care Campus, including Brethren Care Village, Greens Bistro, and Wellness Center Pages
- Data entry for memberships and events.
- Other duties as assigned.
What do I need for this role?
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Customer service, sales or clerical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the event industry preferred.
