The Community Wellness Event Manager plays a crucial role in furthering our mission and values by orchestrating and executing events, managing facilities, and overseeing details such as decorations, catering, entertainment, transportation, guest lists, special guests, equipment, and promotional materials for wellness center memberships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate facilities and oversee all event details including decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, guest lists, special guests, equipment, and promotional materials.
- Manage events from initial concept to successful completion.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable events that meet quality standards.
- Plan, design, and execute events while ensuring all project elements are delivered on time.
- Communicate with clients to ascertain their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Suggest improvements to enhance service delivery and event quality.
- Provide feedback and regular reports on service utilization and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to insurance, legal, and safety regulations.
- Attend all events, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Proactively address any issues and resolve problems on the day of the event.
- Conduct evaluations before and after events and report on results.
- Research market trends, identify event opportunities, and generate interest.
- Promptly inform supervisors of any significant issues or unusual occurrences.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Lead sales and marketing efforts for the Wellness Center's fitness and pool memberships, including event room bookings.
- Assist in external marketing and sales initiatives for Brethren Care Village, including vendor events and promotional activities.
- Help develop marketing materials and printed content.
- Utilize and train on fitness equipment and software to ensure proper onboarding of new members.
- Assist with front desk operations at the Wellness Center as needed.
- Manage social media content for Brethren Care Campus, including Brethren Care Village, Greens Bistro, and Wellness Center pages.
- Perform data entry for memberships and events.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in customer service, sales, or clerical roles preferred.
- Familiarity with the event industry is preferred.
