Responsibilities:
Community Operations Coordinator
- Velo Forest Hills Apartment Homes (a premier class A 250 unit mid-rise community located on the MBTA Orange Line – just a few stops from downtown Boston – and in the desirable Forest Hills neighborhood) – Boston, MA

As a vital member of our property operations team, your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the property and on-site personnel in the absence of the Community Manager
Conducting tours and presenting the community in an engaging manner, assisting prospective residents in finding their ideal apartment home
Managing the community's financial performance to ensure adherence to budgetary and financial guidelines under the direction of the Community Manager
Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of bank deposits
Administering late and non-sufficient fund charges
Maintaining precise resident records, processing all rents, deposits, fees, and all accounts payable functions as directed by the Community Manager
Issuing appropriate notices (e.g., late payments, evictions, NSF checks)
Monitoring local market trends and updating property comparables to stay competitive
Reporting and following up on service requests with the maintenance team; conducting service follow-ups with residents
Building strong relationships with our residents by providing exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
2 to 4 years of relevant multifamily property management experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Familiarity with property management software (Yardi) preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Pay Range:
$30.00 per hour
This pay range is approximate, and the actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant job experience, education, training, and professional/industry certifications.
Please note this pay range does not include any additional compensation this position may be eligible for, such as commissions or bonuses.
