JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Manager to join our dynamic team. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including planning, tracking, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proven track record of implementing effective inventory control processes.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Inventory Planning & Management

  • Analyze inventory levels to identify if goods need to be purchased.
  • Balance Inventory needs in a multi-branch, multi-distribution center environment.
  • Ensure inventory levels are in alignment with sales and expected growth goals.

Order Management

  • Create and communicate purchase orders to our Domestic and International vendor partners.
  • Coordinate purchase orders with vendor partners and maintain accurate estimated delivery information.
  • Expedite open purchase orders as needed to avoid stock outages.
  • Provide periodic updates to the vendor pricing file in the computer system.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare inventory reports that provide an overview of the product line from a vendor.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management for continuous improvement regarding inventory management processes.
  • Update to ERP system related to product details.
  • Collaborate with the product management team related to new and existing products. To include, but not limited to resolve sourcing, pricing, and quality issues.
  • Complete other ad-hoc duties as required.


CORE SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 4-8 years of prior experience as a buyer/purchaser or Inventory Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
