We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Key Qualifications

  • Checks and documents client/patient vital signs at admission and when indicated or requested.
  • Assist medical professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and collecting specimens.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure timely and efficient care.
  • Communicate with patients and their families to provide information, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of physiological effects commonly misused substances and the pharmacology of medications used to manage SUD (substance use disorder).
  • Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Pay & Benefits


At Janus, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $23.00 to $29.00 hourly and your base pay will be considered on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.

Requirements:


Education & Experience

  • Certified Medical Assistant or LVN with at least one year of experience
  • Demonstrates an understanding of physiological effects commonly misused substances and the pharmacology of medications used to manage SUD (substance use disorder).
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn and implement Electronic Medical Software (AVATAR) to perform essential job functions which will include thoroughly documenting and entering program notes in a timely manner
  • Experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Bilingual language skills
