EAP On-Site Clinical Counselor/Substance Abuse Professional

About the Role
CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Counselor to join our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) team. As an EAP On-Site Clinical Counselor/Substance Abuse Professional, you will play a critical role in providing confidential counseling services to employees at our DFW airport location.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site consultation, counseling, and informational services to employees.
- Conduct initial assessments and triage for mental/behavioral health services.
- Offer short-term individual counseling for a variety of presenting issues, including mental, emotional, and substance abuse concerns.
- Refer employees to appropriate treatment or higher levels of care based on clinical assessments.
- Partner with managers, union representatives, and other stakeholders to support employee well-being.
- Develop and deliver training programs on health enhancement topics.
- Provide Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) services following traumatic events.
- Collaborate with the on-site clinical manager and team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of employee interactions and services provided.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field.
- Current and unrestricted clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or LCPC).
- 2+ years of experience in substance abuse treatment and assessment.
- SAP certification or willingness to become certified.
- Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training or certification.
- 3+ years of direct clinical experience in various settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working as an on-site EAP counselor in a large company or organization.
- Familiarity with work-related issues and union representation.
- Expertise in workplace-related stress and corporate environments.
- Strong intercultural expertise and ability to work effectively in a diverse setting.
