The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance, structural integrity, and cleanliness of a 3-story building that includes a production area. This role involves managing and maintaining the facility's systems, particularly refrigeration, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Facility Manager will lead a team of 2 maintenance staff and 20 sanitation staff, with 3 direct reports, ensuring smooth operations and a clean, safe environment.

The successful candidate should have at least 4 years of facility management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and strong leadership skills. They must also be able to handle challenging situations and people effectively while maintaining the facility to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily maintenance and cleanliness operations of the 3-story facility, including the production area.
  • Ensure the building's structural integrity, cleanliness, and compliance with all safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manage and lead a team of 2 maintenance staff and 20 sanitation staff, with 3 direct reports.
  • Address and resolve facility-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to production and operations. especially refrigeration
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
  • knowledge of facility operations, including refrigeration system maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of handling challenging people and situations.
  • Spanish-speaking proficiency is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing or any production environment is a plus.
