Inside Sales Manager Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Manager at AA Metals will play a pivotal role in leading and motivating the inside sales team to achieve sales targets and drive growth in the common alloy commodities sector. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing sales strategies, and fostering a high-performance environment to enhance our market presence and customer satisfaction.
Inside Sales Manager Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and develop the inside sales team to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and support.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive the sales of common alloy commodities.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure prompt delivery of product within timeframes specified by clients
- Monitor inventory and develop sales plan to minimize slow moving products
- Coordinate, organize and execute development plans for the sales team, including training curriculum
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects.
- Address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Track and analyze sales metrics, such as conversion rates and revenue growth. Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and sales results to senior management.
- Work closely with the product team to align sales efforts with company objectives and market demands. Provide feedback on product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance sales operations and efficiency.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for the sales team to improve their product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Manage achievement of team KPIs.
- Display professional and effective communication at all levels of the organization.
- Respond proactively to changing priorities, deadlines, ambiguity and mobilize sales team to do the same.
Inside Sales Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the metals or industrial sector is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
