POSITION SUMMARY
This position will assist the accounts’ receivable function focusing on accurate and timely collection for our three product lines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
- Assisting with accounts receivable function focusing on collections for three product lines
- Analyzing aging to identify slow-paying customers and working closely with sales team, customer care and the senior A/R specialist to resolve customer account discrepancies
- Generate and send out invoices
- Verify and post customer payments
- Concisely communicate with internal and external parties to ensure customer accounts are managed accurately and timely
- Preparing deposit and adjustment packets in compliance with audit requirements for transactions processed in the ledger
- Assisting with monthly close processes as needed
- Generating ad-hoc reports and statements for internal use, as needed
- Ensure documentation/support created of all work performed is clear, concise, auditable and adheres to internal control policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance on all internal reporting requests, and external audit requests

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree in accounting, or related field
- 2-3 years relevant experience
- Basic excel skills required.
- Effective time management, organization, and communication skills
- Works well in a team environment, positive attitude
