The Quality Assurance/Trainer position focuses on maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence. This role involves training new hires, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line Service Technician Duties: The Quality Assurance Trainer functions in a dual capacity. They are expected to work the ramp and function as a fully operational Line Service Technician. Their split in role is based on the daily workload, onboarding schedule and downtime.
- Training and Development: Conduct comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff, ensuring all team members are up to date with the latest procedures and safety protocols.
- Quality Audits: Perform regular audits of operational processes, equipment, and safety practices to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Process Improvement: Analyze operational data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor to less experienced staff, providing guidance, support, and expertise to help them develop their skills and advance within the company.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into any incidents or safety breaches, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough records of training sessions, audit results, and process improvements, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Safety: Act as the department Safety Officer, leading all internal and external audits, creating safety data reports and responding to safety concerns submitted by employees. Be an active member of the safety committee.
- Other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
2 years of FBO experience, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in a Line Service role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership position.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
Proficiency in general office software and tools.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
A passion for delivering an exceptional training experience.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards (if applicable).
