Five years of Advertising/Media Sales Experience REQUIRED

A Media Advertising Company is looking for someone to sell advertising to small, medium, and large companies in the Fort Lauderdale area. Their State-of-The-Art advertising process has helped businesses of all shapes and sizes target new customers to generate superior results.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.
  • Making cold calls or reaching out to prospects.
  • Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
  • Compiling and analyzing data to find trends.
  • Developing sales strategies.
  • Staying current on company offerings and industry trends.
  • Maintaining a database of contact information.
  • Handling complaints and negotiations.

Qualifications

  • 5-15 years of experience in advertising B2B sales REQUIRED, small to mid-sized accounts preferred
  • Documented sales success
  • Knowledge and understanding of the local advertising industry in the Ft. Lauderdale area
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
  • Strong time management skills
  • Computer skills, especially MS Office and CRM software
  • Reliable Transportation and Valid Drivers License
  • Able to travel in the local territory up to 85% of the time
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug testing
  • Bilingual English/Spanish desirable but not required
