If so, Quality Pork Processors in Austin, MN is looking for a dedicated Production Manufacturing Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time role on our 2nd shift with a rotating on/off schedule. A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

As our Production Manufacturing Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will direct the mechanical staff in maintaining and repairing all mechanical equipment within our pork processing plant. Your day will begin by ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition, performing preventative and predictive maintenance. You'll follow hygiene processes and policies to uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Promoting a safe working environment, you will supervise activities, including equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.

Your responsibilities include scheduling, safety, cost reduction, training, discipline, and record-keeping. You'll assign work and oversee personnel regarding job safety, quality, and workmanship. Additionally, you'll plan and manage maintenance days to maximize manpower and reduce subcontracted work. You will assist engineering and outside consultants in developing plans for mechanical improvements and installations. Identifying improvements in work practices, you'll attend meetings to discuss schedules and report on KPIs, using a work order system throughout.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Degree in a mechanical maintenance field or equivalent industry experience in a production manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of mechanical maintenance supervisory experience
