Marketing Specialist

Merry Maids is currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to contribute to the development, design, planning, and implementation of marketing promotions and campaigns with the goal of supporting system wide sales. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to coordinate, implement, and support marketing projects, processes, and programs, especially for the marketing and sales enablement of the franchise network. A significant part of your role will be consulting with franchisees on phone calls or online meetings, where you will have the opportunity to impact change at a local level. You will work with third-party business partners and agencies to develop and produce marketing materials, and facilitate and coordinate the approval, production schedule, invoicing, and inventory of marketing materials.


What you'll do:

  • Guide local marketing strategy and advise franchisees on tactics and budget applicable to their unique market utilizing the approved marketing mix.
  • Consult with franchisees to support local marketing initiatives and lead generation programs.
  • Monitor marketing support requests daily.
  • Coordinate, implement, and support marketing projects, processes, and programs.
  • Coordinate with third-party business partners and agencies to develop and produce marketing materials.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the approval, production schedule, invoicing and reimbursement requests, and inventory of marketing materials.
  • Gather and report sales and marketing data, and help franchisees understand their local marketing analytics.
  • Serve as internal SME on specific areas of marketing (e.g., branding, local marketing,, etc.).
  • Develop, execute, and measure brand gift card initiative, encouraging research participation, and ensure successful franchise adoption of programs.
  • Manage monthly invoices, accruals, and financial reports and keep records for tracking.
  • Contribute to the development, design, planning and implementation of marketing promotions and themes.
  • Participate in events, webinars, conferences, etc. as relevant to role

What you bring:

  • Knowledge of marketing and a basic understanding of print production
  • Communication or customer support experience preferred
  • Project management skills
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); with a heavy emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Computer skills with Dropbox, Smartsheet, and SharePoint a plus
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience, or equivalent education

Work Location:

This is 100% remote role with up to 10% travel required.
