The Front Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The primary duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting and checking in patients, verifying insurance information, collecting co-pays, and assisting with medical records management.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial, as well as a professional demeanor and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Other responsibilities may include maintaining office supplies, handling patient inquiries and requests, and coordinating with other staff members to ensure a positive patient experience.

Candidates should have previous experience in a medical office setting, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency in computer software for scheduling and record-keeping. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a medical office assistant certification is preferred.
