Prepared On: 07/09/2024Role: To maintain business relationships with dealers within the Credit Union’s indirect lending program. Assist management with various dealer and core data reports. Assist in leading team members in day-to-day duties as needed and assume various duties in absence of management.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:50%Work closely with dealer partners and credit union team members to ensure day to day department duties run smoothly. Underwrite loan applications submitted through the lending software and ensure timely responses back to dealer partners.20%Organize, manage, and maintain funding activity to ensure prompt funding of contract packets received and address any funding delays in a timely manner.15%Maintain working relationship with management to act as liaison when needed with dealers, team members and management.10%Track marketing efforts and assist in educating and communicating promotions to dealer network.5%Performs other duties as assigned.Performance Measurements:1.To ensure all documentation is completed in compliance with credit union policy and regulatory guidelines.2.To keep credit union management informed of all issues - both successful and problematic.3.To maintain knowledge and a sound understanding of dealer network and lending software.4.To maintain established processes and programs with accuracy.5.To work collaboratively as a team member to meet or exceed team goals.Knowledge and Skills:ExperienceThree years to five years of similar or related experience.EducationA high school education or GED.Interpersonal SkillsWork involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.Other SkillsMust be able to travel independently
Knowledge of legislation, regulation, policies and procedures pertaining to lending practices.
Basic understanding of the collection process
Complete knowledge of the indirect lending program.
Knowledge of lending software and data processing systems.
Proficient with Microsoft products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Intermediate math skills, capable of calculations involving decimals, percentages and fractions
Skilled in typing, 10-key and filing.
