In this role, you’ll take charge of the upkeep and safety of all turf-related machinery and provide expert support for our property’s additional needs, including golf carts and electronics. Your work will ensure that our course remains a top destination for golfers, delivering a safe and enjoyable experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors, and tools, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Manage inventory for equipment, parts, and supplies, placing orders and verifying receipts.
- Keep the shop organized and maintain tools in top working condition.
- Coordinate with all departments to meet special maintenance requirements for events.
- Serve as the go-to expert for resolving escalated maintenance issues, training team members, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Fabricate or modify equipment to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Communicate daily with the Golf Course Superintendent on the status of all turf equipment.
- Implement cost-effective methods and procedures to maximize equipment longevity.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment, including engines, tractors, hydraulics, and more.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience as a Golf Course Mechanic.
- At least 1 year of management experience.
- Expertise in operating and maintaining turf equipment, engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
- Ability to follow company policies and handle administrative responsibilities.
- Eligibility for a Class II Gaming License (background check required).
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
