These functions require electronic management of parts using company business systems. In addition, this position requires supporting other personnel as needed. Major ResponsibilitiesCreating jobs, answering incoming phone calls, and assisting with the scheduling of techniciansOrganizing technician workload according to geographic, technical and timeliness requirements impacting mean time to repair and first time fix metricsScheduling preventative maintenance and repairs with customersUse specific customer portals as needed to manage all open work ordersTracking open jobs and seeing them through to completionProcess new contracts and renewals in electronic management systemMeeting with the service operations team regularlySupport of other Service departmental roles on an as-needed basisMentoring other service coordinators to achieve optimal efficiencyTrain service team and provide guidance as neededServe on a rotating on-call team to respond to emergency calls, typically every four to five weeksMinimum Job Requirements EducationAssociates or Bachelors degree in related field (or equivalent experience)Work ExperienceThree to five years of administrative experience in a service-related businessThree to five years of scheduling field technicians and/or customer serviceKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesComputer literacy is required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)General knowledge of service parts and the service industry, including but not limited to basic mechanical and technical aptitude.Incorporate time management skills by prioritizing work assignments.Proven interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers, including being a team player to create synergy within the office and company.Must be able to handle high-pressure situations.Customer satisfaction and mediation strategies.Must have basic math skills for computing percentages, multipliers, sales tax, and totals on parts orders.Preferred Job Requirements EducationBachelor's Degree in BusinessDegree in Diesel Technology or a related fieldKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesWorking knowledge of business enterprise systems (e.g. FieldServio, SAP, etc.)Proficiency in schematic and service documentationPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. Occasional travel.Compensation: Energy Systems is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly rate for this role based in Shelton, CT is $26.39 - $36.98. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
