Labriola Ristorante is a full-service, Italian restaurant that has 3 private dining rooms, along with a full bar inside and outside on our patio that is open year round We throw the best parties in the burbs, so there's always some excitement happening

Job Summary:
Private Events Manager will be responsible for sales, planning and operations, organizing and executing various events. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure that all events are successful and meet their expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate events, including conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings.
  • Develop event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution.
  • Create floor plans, menus, and general event outlines to present to clients.
  • Oversee event setup and teardown, including decorations, seating arrangements, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Handle event marketing activities to attract attendees and promote the event.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure expenses are within allocated limits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after events.
  • Address any issues or concerns that may arise during events.

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of event management principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • 1 + years in events management preferred
  • Ability to market events effectively to attract attendees.
  • Proficient in contract negotiation and management
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality events.
  • Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients and guests.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time during events.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to work a variety of hours in order to accommodate events.
  • The employee frequently is required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, anything greater should be done with assistance.
