SCHEDULE -

Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm


SALARY RATE -

Pay Rate: $28 - $30 / hour


IDEAL CANDIDATE -

  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
  • Attention to detail in managing sales orders, processing documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal sales teams, customers, and other departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex matters when necessary.
  • Familiarity with CRM software or sales support tools for managing customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, products, and technologies.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Assist the Regional Sales Manager and Territory Managers in all sales-related matters.
  • Receive information from Territory Managers and, if necessary, contact clients to clarify their demands.
  • Increase personal touch with the customer in response to their demands.
  • Assist customers with sales, product inquiries, and any other required information.
  • Enter quotes upon request from customers, territory managers, or the regional sales manager.
  • Serve as the connection between Territory Managers, clients, special orders, credit, accounting, IT, etc...
  • Accurately and promptly process consumer transactions such as orders, quotations, and refunds.
  • Conduct research and disseminate particular product and sales information in response to requests from the Regional Sales Manager, Territory Managers, or customers.
  • Comprehend and utilize all cross-reference resources, as well as locate alternative products as needed.
  • Educate customers about product nomenclature, characteristics, and benefits in order to increase product-related sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Give precise information regarding the availability of items in stock.
  • Monitor shipment dates to assure on-time arrival, and expedite if necessary.
  • Serve as the go-to person for coworkers who require assistance with product expertise and/or technical problems.
  • Make outbound sales calls to customers per request.
  • At all times, present a professional image to consumers and vendors.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -

  • Requires high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • A Customer Service background is required.
  • A general understanding of the HVAC/R wholesale industry is desirable.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to establish a comfortable rapport between the customer and Johnstone Supply.
  • Skill and ability to type 30-50 wpm, operate a computer, use 10 key or calculator, organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, prioritize and handle multiple task, and ability to operate office equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, along with being an effective listener.
