An Account and Distributor Manager Level II manages multiple distributors and a team of Sales and Distribution Managers/Account & Distributor Managers with account responsibility. They work with Director of Regional Sales to develop plans to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for all AC F&S brands. This role is responsible for sales volume of $8MM - $20MM.

This role is also responsible to develop joint business plans and set plans to achieve volume objectives with all distributors and identify any new distribution opportunities in the market. They will also work with the account team in alignment with distributors to deliver 100% execution of all account co-op and programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Sales Planning
    1. Develop sales plan for the market area with distributors involved by reviewing account plans, S&OP forecasting, and execution expectations.
    2. With account responsibility within the market area ensure strong sales plans are in place to support planned net sales growth.
    3. Monitor sales performance weekly and follow up with distributors.
    4. Review each month execution and identify good and bad performances.
    5. Develop joint plans with distributor partners for market area to deliver the sales and profit objectives.

  1. Profitability
    1. Review sales data to ensure we are promoting the correct items with the proper price point for the market area
    2. Monthly review of P&L to ensure expenses are controlled and profitability is maximized.
    3. Follow up on execution and spend guidelines with distributors to ensure goals are delivered for both parties.
    4. Assisting distributor with displays, programs, and create incentives to drive volume

  2. Increase Sales
    1. Manage sales and distribution manager to ensure market conditions are to acceptable levels.
    2. Weekly market tours with key account managers to identify opportunities.
    3. Work with distributors to increase displays for promoted and non-promoted items and encourage warehouses to maintain proper inventory to supply sales force.
    4. Seek out new accounts and new distributors as well as increase small bag business for c-stores.
    5. Make sure all new account/distributors fill out the proper paperwork and submit to our offices to ensure that they are able to get credit, and purchase product.
    6. Sufficiently train new distributors on the processes of ordering and receiving Wise product as well as how to properly handle issues if any.

  3. Manage Accounts / Customer Development
    1. Collaborate with accounts to ensure AC F&S is part of their daily business plans.
    2. Sharing the sales data after key events with the account to validate we are a part of their growth.
    3. Maintain day-to-day files with account such as authorization lists, promotions, sales reviews, and entering promotions in the accounts system. Same information is also processed in the AC F&S system
    4. Build strong relationships with key customers to support company initiatives
    5. Ensure customer's issues are understood and work to resolve them.

  4. Distributors
    1. Collaborating with warehouse managers regarding upcoming promotional events and maintaining product to allow reps to sustain POG integrity.
    2. Working with distributor managers to ensure they have the upcoming promotional information and are communicating this to the reps.
    3. Discussing service issues with distributor management to resolve current issue and create a plan to prevent future issues.
    4. Reviews and planning meetings when possible.
    5. Build strong relationships with key customers to support company initiatives
    6. Ensure customer's issues are understood and work to resolve them.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education: HS degree required, Associate's Degree - Business, Bachelor's degree Communications, Economics, Business preferred
  2. Experience: 3 years' CPG experience, 3+ years Field Sales Experience, 3+ years Sales experience. Position Requires: Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
