What You Will Be Doing:

  • Development, analysis, and interpretation of accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the Company.
  • Coordinates accounting functions including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Analyze and reconcile inventory transactions for accuracy and completeness in support of monthly financial reporting;
  • Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting the cost and profitability of products;
  • Assists in the annual budgeting process;
  • Assist month-end close of general ledger;
  • Work with outside auditing firm during annual audit;
  • Analyze and report variances on work orders, purchase receipts, and inventory adjustments.
  • Performs activities in line with being guardian of the Company’s assets.
  • Performs the daily cash management and preparation of cash forecasts.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.

What You Need To Have:

  • Manufacturing/Assembly environment with revenues $10M to $50M.
  • 5 plus years total accounting experience with 2 plus years experience as Accounting Manager or Controller.
  • Sage X3 or similar business system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to interface with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to establish trust and respect.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage and get results through others.
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adept in problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Technical skills in strategic and financial planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, set priorities, organize initiatives, and follow through.
