Verrill is actively reviewing resumes for a Business Development Coordinator position to be based in Verrill’s Boston, Massachusetts, or Portland, Maine Office. As an integral part of the Marketing and Business Development Team, the Business Development Coordinator supports Verrill’s firm-wide strategic initiatives and business development activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: conducting competitive intelligence, market research, and trend tracking; preparing research packets for client and industry teams and pitch opportunities; collecting and maintaining experience lists; maintaining data in Verrill’s Customer Relationship Management System (CRMS); assisting with the coordination and creation of firm collateral materials and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) responses; tracking status of pitches and proposals; tracking and reporting of website traffic and marketing campaign metrics, and other reports; coordinating submissions for attorney rankings; creating and editing PowerPoint presentations for internal and external speaking engagements; and supporting the marketing team in planning, promoting, and hosting of events. This role is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Business Development.

The ideal candidate will be a professional, motivated self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience, and two (2) years of business development or marketing experience. In-depth proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is also required. Experience with marketing automation systems and/or CRMS is a plus.

The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and capable of producing high quality work, while accomplishing goals and meeting deadlines.
