Job Purpose:

Processes orders per procedure. Acts as liaison between the customer, territory manager, and the customer service specialist to promote smooth, efficient operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Codes and enter purchase orders daily.
  • Processes orders per procedure.
  • Handles purchase order discrepancies with customer and/or territory manager.
  • Responsible for proofreading.
  • Acts as liaison between customer, territory manager, and customer service specialists.
  • Reports essential data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Position will work appropriately 20 hours per week.

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • One-year experience in customer service / data entry in a business environment (non-retail) is preferred.
  • Must have good communication skills, good mathematical skills, and good analytical abilities.
  • Be proficient in 10-key.
  • Prefer 45 WPM and 8,000 KPH
  • Must have basic computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Windows.
  • Must have knowledge and proficient use of applicable office-related equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to use a computer, 10-key, telephone, facsimile machine, and typewriter. Will be required to sit and perform computer work for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Frequent motion of hand, wrist, and fingers due to typing and data entry strokes, writing and phone handling on a daily basis.
