Energy Efficiency Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping eligible residents reduce their energy consumption and save money on utility bills through comprehensive weatherization services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess the energy efficiency of residential dwellings by conducting thorough inspections and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Determine client eligibility for our weatherization program based on established guidelines and criteria.
  • Collaborate with clients to explain weatherization options, answer questions, and ensure their understanding of the process.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting assessments, recommendations, and completed work orders.
  • Work closely with our skilled technicians to ensure efficient and effective implementation of weatherization measures.
  • Maintain accurate client records and program data using both manual and computerized systems.
  • Stay informed about current energy efficiency standards, best practices, and available resources.
  • Promote the benefits of energy conservation and provide technical assistance to clients as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in customer service, construction, or a similar field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping practices.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
