Job Description

Are you a seasoned heavy civil construction professional looking for a dynamic role with an industry leader? We're seeking a skilled Project Manager / Estimator to oversee all aspects of our public and private heavy civil construction projects. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of heavy civil construction projects, including utilities, excavation, dirt work, and asphalt paving.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and bid packages.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication, including costs, scheduling, and updates.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure timely project completion.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and financial records.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and compliance standards (OSHA, MSHA, DOT).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil project management, coordination, field management, bidding, or estimating.
  • Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of heavy civil construction processes, including utilities, excavation, and asphalt paving.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in estimating software and project management tools.
