Over the course of this internship, you will be presented with insight into your career path with exposure to day-to-day tasks required in your selected department. This is a paid internship, so you earn while you learn
Internship timeframe: June 17th – August 29th
Starting pay: $17.50 - 20 / hr
This position will be onsite only at either our Irvine, CA or Ontario, CA offices, depending on the department. You’ll have the chance to make invaluable connections throughout Origence, and this positive impact you make as an intern could help you build a strong professional network and has the potential to transition into a fulfilling career.
What you will do:
- Employee Committee Support:
- Assist with organizing and coordinating employee committee events/activities.
- Plan and help coordinate the annual BYKTWD (Bring Your Kid to Work Day) event
- Contribute to planning summer events and initiatives to enhance employee engagement
- Research remote opportunities for Children’s Miracle Hospital voluntary event
- Assist with the planning and execution of the CHOC Walk 2024
- Help facilitate the employee summer gifts –
- Assist in selecting and distributing summer gifts to employees,
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely delivery of gifts
- Maintain records of gift distribution
- Keep track of the Employee Committee budget
- Recruitment Administrative Duties:
- Update and maintain recruitment workflows
- Assist with document audits related to our internal ATS, Clear Company, and other relevant systems
- Assist the recruiters with sourcing, background checks, and reference checks
- Prepare weekly recruitment reports, including metrics on candidate sourcing, interviews, and offers
- Assist the recruiters as needed
- Administrative Duties
- Assist in helping out with in-office activities and events
- Other administrative help as needed
Requirements
- Must be available to work a consistent schedule of a min of 20 hour/ week during the hours of 8am – 5pm PDT.
- Must be able to come onsite to Southern California offices (Irvine, CA and/or Ontario, CA)
The ideal intern
- A current student
- Excellent written & communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and savviness to learn new processes quickly
