POSITION OVERVIEW
Summary of Responsibilities:
This person will perform general clerical duties in support of the Children and Youth Unit as well as any other departments in need of assistance. Work involves typing, filing, answering phones, scanning documents, posting, and sorting mail, and assisting in processing a variety of documents. All functions are performed within established procedures and guidelines, and instruction is provided for new assignments.
Essential Functions:
Answers and routes incoming calls
Greets visitors to the office
Types reports, forms, correspondence, and other material
Scans and files documents
Fax and/or mail information and (when needed) ensure appropriate release of information
Sorts and distributes incoming mail
Date entry including maintain and monitor statistical data to compile data for reporting
Complies with HIPAA privacy and security regulations that govern disclosure of protected health information (PHI)
Maintains supply order list and makes orders as required
Distribute and file documents and correspondence

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalency, Associate Degree Preferred, experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), typing skills, excellent customer service skills.
Employment Requirements:
Automobile and Valid Insurance, Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License, acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check, Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, Social Security Card, Immigration and Naturalization (I-9), Drug Screening Clearance
Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods working on a computer in an open office environment, comfortable communicating through virtual technology, and travel throughout the assigned region may occur and may be in adverse weather conditions, must be able to lift to 15 pounds.
