POSITION SUMMARY


The HR Administration Assistant reports to the Senior Global HR Manager and plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department by ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. This position works closely with the HR team to provide administrative support and assist with HR activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in human resources, excellent organizational skills, and a desire to grow within the field. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions and contribute to the overall success of the organization.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Collaborating with the HR team to support employees and complete administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Performing general administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining employee records.
  • Assisting with onboarding new employees and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Supporting the HR team in organizing events and other company-wide initiatives on a quarterly basis.
  • Assisting with recruitment including scheduling interviews.
  • Helping with the payroll process and payroll reconciliation under supervision.
  • Answering employee queries about HR-related matters.
  • Coordinating HR activities to meet project timelines.
  • Managing the company’s internal recognition platform, AWARDCO, including approvals and reporting.
  • Organizing and distributing department / company announcements.
  • Assisting with internal training, scheduling, set up of classes, maintaining LMS and reporting.
  • Providing assistance with any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the HR team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree or comparable business experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment.
  • A desire to grow and learn in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Basic knowledge of HR principles, experience with Awardco platform are advantageous but not required.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience working in ADP platform.

Other Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming registration.
