Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a**Electrical Maintenance Technican **, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and monitoring equipment, conducting repairs and replacements. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. Bring your electrical expertise to a dynamic manufacturing environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Independently identify and repair equipment issues within assigned area with minimal supervision
  • Promptly respond to equipment related issues with customer-oriented manner.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical problems to include process instrumentation/control systems, 120–480-volt systems, variable speed drives, and PLC related issues (primarily Allen Bradley but some other systems may also be included)
  • Perform preventative maintenance, and safety inspections.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems, provide quick & innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal fabrication, machining, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving.
  • Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery,equipmentand facilities in the processing & packaging departments.
  • Setup, takedown, and relocation of Process and Packaging equipment
  • Frequently modify packaging & process equipment for new products
  • Provide solutions to routine or unique equipment problems.
  • Operate a mill, lathe, drill press, grinder, saws, and all other machine shop tools.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 years mechanical/maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Minimum 5 years electrical, and/or controls/PLC in an industrial manufacturing environment (strong electrical skills are preferred)

  • A minimum of a high school education or its equivalent.

  • Must be flexible to work Shift Work (days, afternoons, nights)

  • Ability to communicate effectively.

  • Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment- ability to lift 50+ lbs.

  • Excellent Interpersonal, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Time Management and Organization; Ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.

The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
