Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: 75% Remote, 25% in person. The candidate must live within commutable distance to Oakland, Maryland and be willing to come into the office during the week as needed.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring the best candidates to meet our company's growing needs. This is a 75% remote position, but we need you to be willing to come into the office about 25% of the time to help with in-person needs at the site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Recruiting: Identify and engage with top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback, clear communication, and a seamless interview process.
  • Employer Branding: Contribute to the development and promotion of our employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track and report on key recruitment metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and HR team members to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure recruitment practices comply with relevant employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
