Civil Construction Laborer

 

Do you have an interest in developing your skills in the civil construction industry and learning how to operate earthmoving equipment?  If so, this is the perfect position for you.  Spriggs Excavation is currently searching for a Civil Construction Laborer to work in the Durango area.  The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a hard worker
  • Have a desire to learn and grow within the company
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Be dependable
  • Have some prior experience performing manual labor in an outdoor setting.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Working alongside heavy equipment operators to complete tasks related to earth moving construction projects. This may include shoveling, raking and other manual activities.
  • SAFELY and efficiently performing all assigned work.
  • Adapting to a changing environment including traffic, soil conditions and weather.
  • Learning all aspects of the work being performed.
  • Communicating effectively with all team members.

 

Travel

 

This position primarily works locally but may be asked to travel on occasion.
