Position Overview

TRC is on the lookout for enthusiastic and diverse Civil Engineering Interns to join our Summer Internship Program. This is a paid full-time role, offering the chance to gain valuable experience while working under the guidance of Project Managers and Team Leaders, collaborating with engineers, scientists, and technologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in civil engineering design tasks, including document preparation, drafting, and proposal creation.
  • Support site layout planning, grading, utility design, cost estimation, and transportation infrastructure design.
  • Contribute to the development of civil construction drawings.
  • Utilize software tools such as AUTOCAD, Civil-3D, HydroCAD, Microstation, PondPack, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, CAD, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented individual.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Honest, motivated, and eager to learn and develop professionally.
