YOUR DAY

Our entry-level Lehre Haus Youth Care Worker is at the heart of the action, connecting with residents and implementing daily therapeutic programming to promote independence and model healthy life, social, and coping skills. We train you in our CARE and TCI practices, and you use this knowledge to maintain a safe therapeutic environment. You keep accurate records, ensure our residents' physical and emotional needs are met, and learn about individual trauma histories and triggers. As you anticipate crises and utilize de-escalation techniques, you keep residents safe and happy. Join us in this full-time, part-time, or on-call human services position


YOUR HOURS

With day, evening, and night shifts available on a full-time, part-time, or on-call basis, we can provide a schedule that works for you


LEHRE HAUS YOUTH CARE WORKER REQUIREMENTS

  • 21+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to learn the CARE practice model and TCI system as well as apply their principles
  • Valid driver's license with a reliable, insured vehicle
  • Passion for being a youth mentor

A bachelor's degree in a human services field or related experience would be preferred, but multiple factors are considered. Get ready to laugh, help others, and provide invaluable support
