Havtech is actively seeking a professional, skilled individual to drive sales growth while providing exceptional customer service. The Lennox Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing new customers and enhancing relationships with existing customers to increase sales of Lennox commercial equipment products for the MD, DC & N. VA markets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned.

  • A thorough understanding of Lennox Commercial products, solutions, and tools to assist customers and/or associates in making product selections based on the customer needs, product specifications and applicable regulations.
  • Prospect, acquire, and cultivate new business opportunities and relationships.
  • Set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Responsible for project take-off, selection, proposal, pricing, submittal creation, project management and project closeout.
  • Ensure high post sale satisfaction by facilitating positive, long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
  • Maintain accurate call history and account sales activity within the CRM system.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members as needed.
  • Collaborate across all Havtech sales teams to support overall growth initiatives and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS & MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • A unique combination of education, experience, or demonstrated accomplishments will be considered. Bachelor of Science in Engineering is preferred. Bachelor of Arts Degree in a technical or business-related field. 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing in the HVAC industry.
  • Knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration and sales techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an understanding of a well-developed sales process.
  • Ability to listen and gain trust to build lasting relationships with prospects.
  • Experience with mechanical contractors and commercial service contractors preferred.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, customer relations, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to travel within a defined region as required.
  • Ability to function independently and deliver results.
