General Manager (Onsite Supervision)
Job Type: 1099 contract
Location: Santa Rosa Beach, FL (within 30 minutes preferred)
Pay Range: $38-$43/hour

Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our company. The General Manager will be responsible for managing job planning, technician management, developing estimates, and approving invoices. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of operation processes.

General Manager Duties:
  • Day-to-Day Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.
  • Job Planning: Coordinate and manage job planning activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline management. Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technician Management: Supervise and support technicians, ensuring they have the necessary resources, training, and guidance to perform their duties effectively. Monitor performance and address any issues that arise.
  • Development of Estimates: Develop accurate and competitive estimates for projects, considering labor, materials, and other associated costs. Collaborate with clients and team members to refine estimates and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Approval of Invoices: Review and approve invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms. Work closely with the account manager and accounting department to manage financial transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all services and products meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly. Strive to exceed client expectations and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. Encourage professional development and continuous improvement among team members.

Additional Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in management within a service business, customer service, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, FSM, and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of home services industry preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
