Position: Construction Superintendent

Job Type: Contract

Location: Santa Rosa Beach, FL

Compensation: $1,000 - $1,200/week (inclusive of travel and related expenses)

Requirements: Must possess a smartphone and be willing to secure appropriate WC insurance.

Role Objective: The Superintendent is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of subcontractors and trades personnel, including the submission of daily reports with photographic documentation and weather logs.
  • Implement and monitor site safety measures in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
  • Manage procurement of materials and services, ensuring all deliveries are inspected and documented.
  • Facilitate effective communication with home office, subcontractors, and clients through various channels.
  • Utilize technology to maintain connectivity with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work aligns with project specifications and timelines, addressing quality issues promptly.
  • Maintain project schedules, providing regular updates and documentation of communications.
  • Perform hands-on tasks as needed, including installation and repair work.
  • Coordinate with inspection officials and other professionals to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee the completion of punch lists and project closeout procedures.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar capacity.
  • Experience with renovation and new construction projects.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents effectively.
  • Maintain open communication regarding availability and adhere to company policies for time off.
  • Ensure reliable internet and communication tools are available for efficient job performance.
  • Familiarity with BuilderTrend is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Compensation: $1,200.00 per week

Experience Required:

  • Commercial construction: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Environment: In-person
