The Director of Technical Operations at Augmentjobs is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the technical operations and infrastructure of the company. This role will ensure that all technical systems and processes are operating efficiently, securely, and effectively to support the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical management, operations, and leadership, with a strong background in IT and technical project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement technical operations strategies aligned with the company's goals. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the technical operations framework.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the technical operations team, ensuring effective performance, professional development, and alignment with company objectives.

  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee day-to-day technical operations, including system performance, network management, and infrastructure maintenance. Ensure systems are optimized for reliability, scalability, and security.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to technical operations. Provide regular updates to senior management and recommend improvements based on data analysis.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.

  • Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in technical operations or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and successful project management.
