What you’ll do…

Enchanted Rock is looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful O&M Regional Operations Manager to assume responsibilities of supervising a team of Managers and Technicians within assigned region. The Regional Operations Manager reports to the Vice President of O&M, responsible for 24/7/365 assigned regional operations of Enchanted Rock’s installed fleet of microgrid power generation. This is an on-call position. The Regional Operations Manager position has up to six (6+) direct reports and management responsibility of up to forty (40+) employees.


You’ll make an impact by:

· Administer the regional Safety, Operations, NERC Compliance, Maintenance, Administrative, Training, Environmental QA/QC programs to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the region.

· Administer project agreements including O&M Agreement, Power Purchase Agreement, Long Term Service agreement, and Interconnection Agreements. Ensure region is operated in accordance with these project agreements.

· Provide safe working environment and promote attitude of safety awareness for all regional personnel including actively ensuring the safety of others

· Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental permits, regulations, and agreements with neighboring landowners.

· Control and maintain regional expenditures utilizing budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting methods. Establish annual budgets for the region in accordance with the O&M practices.

· Manages and coordinates the daily activities of regional maintenance activities, projects, budgets, and personnel.

· Responsible for 24/7/365 operation and financial performance of assigned generation assets

· Continue to enhance image of regional assets as a good neighbor to the community and the environment. Encourage involvement and participation of regional staff in community activities.

· Provide hands-on support for operations and maintenance as required

· Assist in the evaluation of equipment problems and failures

· Employ outside resources as necessary to resolve technical and administrative issues

· Provide leadership to all regional personnel

· Conduct periodic reviews of regional policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current regional goals, operating requirements, and the industry’s best in class

· Complete special projects as required by the VP of O&M.

· Requisitions materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, and replacement parts.

· Conducts/arranges technician training in safety, repair, maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.

· Monitors tool inventories and the condition and maintenance of vehicles to ensure adequate working conditions.

· Develops and implements electronic maintenance programs and computer information management.

· Achieves financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submitting information for budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances.

· Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; benchmarking professional standards; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company’s management.

Requirements:

You'll sweep us off our feet if you have:

·Extensive power plant technical and leadership experience with a work history that demonstrates a pattern of accomplishments and advancement

· Extensive experience in Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle power plants, and mobile power generation equipment

· Power Plant experience as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager or Maintenance Manager


What you'll need:

·Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET accredited) plus three (3) years’ experience in a related industry; or technical diploma/high school diploma plus five (5) years’ experience or commensurate experience in a related industry. Must demonstrate a strong technical and managerial capability

· In-depth knowledge of power generating equipment and technologies

· Strong leadership/management/communication skills

· Strong organizational/prioritizing skills

· Ability to make significant independent judgments

· Required to have eyesight corrected at 20/40 to accurately read and interpret such as but not limited to instruments, gauges, and manuals

· Must be physically capable of performing demanding work at various heights and in adverse conditions during operations, shutdowns, and in fire/emergency activities

· Must be physically capable of wearing protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to fall protection equipment, hardhat, safety shoes, safety glasses etc.

· Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and work against deadlines.

· Communicates well with colleagues and customers.

· Able to demonstrate and present a high level of professionalism and organization.

· Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with other business units.

· Must be open to training, direction, and constant learning and improvement.
